½ bottle: pale yellow. Has a floral, buttery air, soft pear fruit, light smoke; it’s harmonious and curvy. The palate has good style, a gentle cascade of white fruits, pear notably, plus white plum. It extends with detail, has a fine close. Charm, restraint here. Bottled July 2017. 2021-22 Nov 2017


flinty yellow robe. The nose has an attractive, expansive air of pear, apricot, a plump style. The palate has a sturdy profile – stewed white fruits, a note of spirit that I’ve found before. It ends on some firm, tangy grip, close to tannin. I find the nose ahead of the palate. This is table wine – sauces, white meats. The finale is a bit burnt. 14.5°. 2021-22 Nov 2017 Previously Apr 2016 ***(*) (cask) fine yellow robe. Cooked pear, apricot, mineral and orange zest airs on the nose. This is tight, knuckled wine; it holds tight matterlenthens well, has a steady persistence. A solid wine for la table. Its 14.3° is well integrated; a serious Condrieu. “It’s my first Condrieu after 40 years of Côte-Rôtie; I am very happy with the tension in the 2015,” Jean-Paul Jamet. 2024-25 Apr 2016
