yellow colour; has a good upfront, engaging nose that shows cooked pear, apricot, marked aniseed. The palate flavour centres on compote of stewed white fruits, is nicely thorough, has enough depth for la table. It’s refined towards the finish; in fact, the debut is expansive, then it refines, channels, gives grip, so works well on both fronts. 14°. Bottled May 2019. 67% Rouss, 33% Mars. 2,933 b.
