NV (2009 & 2010)

½ bottle: purple colour and a pleasing red. The nose is broad, has smoky notes, a deep plum-mulberry jam air, also elderflower, a bit of leather and punch here. The palate lasts well, carries fresh fruit to the end, after attacking on a tight ball of dark fruit, has live tannins, is a structured wine. It holds definite Côte-Rôtie links. The fruit is lucid, the texture cool, with youth still in it. From spring 2015. 12.5°. Grand drop! 2024-26  Oct 2013
