dark, thorough robe. Meaty, scaled bouquet – fleshy black fruit and prune, a plum interior, herbal moments; there are traces of snap and clarity. The palate holds grippy black berry fruit which extends with some freedom into a clear finish. This has good, sprightly fruit, a nice and tasty blackberry. Unpretentious wine, good balance. 14.5°.
