sombre quite dark red robe; the nose is rather confused, on reduction, with sweet red berry jam airs, a marked vegetal note. The palate sets off on a billow of red cherry fruits, is fat and rolling, rather plumptious. There is another mark of vegetal, smoky cigarette ash, on the finish. The Grenache juice is released carefully, is still tight, towards the finish. Decant it. 2031-33 Mar 2019

2009 ()

red robe with matt in its hue. Spiced, caramel-chocolate, date air with an intense little knot of raspberry within, and garrigue influences. This has a pongy, lactic palate that dries swiftly. Lacks roundness in its red fruit which has a wiry line through it. There is heat on the aftertaste. A pinched wine that needs decanting. To 2016 May 2012
