2007

good, bright dark robe. Oily, black fruit aroma with a smoky trail, and a good foundation of blackcurrant intensity, shows raisin and the 2007 dry wind in its smokiness. Juicy, amenable fruit that gradually widens out along the palate – has a pure heart, works well. Fine length to this. Good wine, nice vigour, the fruit is tasty, is a w.o.w. wine. There is a good late crop of tannin, and it has been well assembled. €24, expensive. 2016-17 July 2010
